What is PRIEC?

PRIEC is an ongoing series of meetings that brings together faculty and graduate students (in the Southern California region and beyond) working on issues of racial, immigrant, and ethnic politics. We intend this group to be a resource for graduate students seeking mentors and advice on their work and for faculty to collaborate and receive feedback on projects that are in various stages of completion.We tend to have three or four meetings each year, each hosted by a college or university in Southern California. The next meeting will be held UC San Diego on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008.This page will include details about upcoming meetings as well as announcements for other relevant seminars and conferences in the region.
