PRIEC @Stanford: Details

Hi everyone,

We have a full (action-packed) day of PRIEC at Stanford, thanks to the outreach and organizing by Gary and Tomas. Please see relevant details about transportation, meals, etc. in a note below from the organizers. Also, the full schedule for Friday (starting at 9am) can be found online at

*Hotel and Ground Transport*

For those of you staying in the hotel, the Stanford Terrace Hotel is 531 Stanford Ave, just of El Camino Real, in Palo Alto. You are responsible for arranging your own ground transportation. If you have contacted me regarding travel reimbursement, I will reimburse _shuttle_ fares from either SFO or SJC, and you should save your receipt.

*On Campus Parking and Transportation*

For those in the hotel Thursday evening, vans will arrive on Friday morning at 9:00 am to take you to the conference location. Those vans will return you to the hotel at 6:00 if you want to drop items and freshen up, and take you to and from my home for the evening festivities.

For those of you driving, the conference will be in Levinthal Hall of the Stanford Humanities Center. A map of the Stanford campus can be found at the link below, and the Humanities Center is located at 434 Santa Teresa St.

Parking locations are also posted on the maps. For easy parking with lots of space and no searching (where you can pay once rather than repeatedly), I recommend Parking Structure 6 at the corner of Campus Drive and Arguello Mall. (Note, it’s underground, so you need to look for the entrance). This spot is a short walk from the Humanities Center, there is visitor parking and it is plentiful.
